The WhiteDuck Slumbernest 50°F is a roomy, flannel-lined rectangular sleeping bag made for warm-weather camping, summer cabins, RV trips, and guest bedding. This model has a 60°F comfort rating, a 50°F lower-limit rating, and a 40°F extreme rating. The advertised 50°F rating corresponds to the lower-limit rating. Actual warmth varies with the sleeper, clothing, sleeping pad, shelter, humidity, and wind; choose your sleep system for the conditions you expect.
Yes. The 2-way zipper opens completely, allowing the sleeping bag to lie flat for use as a blanket.
It measures 78 × 34 inches and is designed for campers up to 6 ft 4 in.
The comfort rating is the temperature at which a typical cold sleeper may feel comfortable; the lower-limit rating is intended for a typical warm sleeper in a curled position; the extreme rating is a survival-oriented reference, not a recommended sleeping temperature. Individual results vary, so plan conservatively.
Choose a bag with a comfort rating below the lowest temperature you realistically expect. This 50°F model has a 60°F comfort rating. Colder-rated Slumbernest models provide more insulation; warmer-rated models weigh less.
