Will the Kodiak 7206 fit my truck?

Measure the inside of your bed with the tailgate up. If it measures 5.5 to 6.8 feet, the 7206 is your tent. Bed length is what matters here, not the model year.

The 7206 is built from Hydra-Shield 8.5 oz. 100% cotton duck canvas — watertight, breathable, and quiet in a storm. Setup is a clamp-on rail system with an integrated steel tube frame. Drop the tailgate, clamp the rails, raise the poles. You sleep off the ground, out of the mud, away from whatever is crawling around the campsite, with your gear locked in the cab three feet away.

Q: i have a 2014 Ford F150, 6.5bed with the step tailgate. would really be nice to use the step rather than bring a stool with, to crawl in the tent. are there provisions for the step tailgate on the Fords, or what could a person do to make using this step possible? How far under tailgate does the tent go?

Works Great With The Short Tundra Bed
We were a little apprehensive reading that it doesn’t fit the 2018 Tundra CrewMax short bed according to the sizing guide. I called and spoke to the owner and he said it would, you’ll just have to tuck any loose fabric up front. We got it setup fine and sized the straps snugged. Sprayed it down for sizing and let dry for a day. Setup was not bad, having done it once, it’s a breeze. We bought the air mattress with wheel well cutouts and the extension mattress that fits across the tailgate, makes a full sized bed even with the short truck bed. Looking forward to some overland ghost town camping in May. Well constructed, seams well sewn and great zipper. On advice of the owner he suggested spraying the seams with a silicone fabric waterproofing spray, which I’ll do when we take it out. Highly recommend their product over a nylon tent.

The perfect tent
Fits my F150 like a glove. It is so quick to put up and is much warmer than a nylon tent. It is very solid in a storm and is perfect for two people on a weekend trip. Looking forward to using it as much as I can. Solid investment

Bottom line:Your tent product is awesome, easy set up and take down. Many other hunters were in awe of your product on cargo area of my GMC Denali 2500. Last hunting trip nightly temperature ranges were 32 to 40 degrees and your tent performed perfect! Good price, excellent service, and excellent product!

Pretty sweet. I have a dodge Dakota when the tent showed up it said full size trucks I do not have a full size truck. The metal support ribs are 8 in. wider than my truck bed, but I cut so half in. plywood and attached it to my bed then put the metal rails on the plywood. Now I have a shelf on the inside on both sides. Very much full of quality. thank you
